CRISTIANE DOMENICI
« BEYOND THE MOVEMENT »
I started dance in Brazil at Escola de Bailado Nice Leite where I graduated in « Children Dance Teacher ». I continued my train at Ballet Ismaël Guiser then migrated to France to the Centre de Danse International Rosella Hightower. One year later I had to stop dancing for a lumbar vertebra fatigue fracture. Very determined to come back to dance, a year later I was admitted on the Jeune Ballet International de Cannes, under direction of Edward Cook. The following year I joined the Ballet National de Marseille Roland Petit where I stayed for six years. At that time I met Monica Germani and started my train with Pilates. Seeing the improvement of this method in the body and the dance technique, I decided to become certified by Alan Herdman and Mejo Wigging as well certified in « dance teacher ».
The following year, Rosella Hightower invited me to teach Pilates in her school in Cannes what i still do today.
I pursued my dance train by participating in various galas in Monte Carlo, Cannes, Opio and the Grand Théâtre de Tours and at the same time became certified in Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis.
After opening studios in Cannes, Monaco and Naples, when my son was born, i decided to keep one headquarter in Cannes where I certify future instructors in Pilates and Gyrotonic.
As a PMA Certified Teacher (Pilates Method Alliance), I was invited in 2018 to teach in the PMA Convention in Las Vegas and since then I started the new adventure of traveling around the world offering workshops.
I am also part of the Teacher Training Commission member of the FPMP (Fédération des Professionnels de la Méthode Pilates)and I am certified on the CQP-ALS. Since 1997 I’ve being teaching « Body Conditioning » to Dancers and Non Dancers from 10 to 90 years old.
My passion of practicing and teaching movement never ends…
